Workshop Description: Come paint wildlife in the landscape with Molly using classical oil painting techniques at this three-day workshop. We will be working on painting elk in this autumn river landscape. Reference photo will be provided closer to the date. Molly will be giving step by step instruction and demonstrations on how she starts the painting, the block in phase, creating depth and atmosphere, blending, glazing, using the palette knife technique, measuring etc. We will also be spending time mixing paint and talking about values, color relationships and using complimentary colors in our paintings. Learn painting techniques that can complement any painting style. Individual and group instruction will be given during the workshop. Basic knowledge of oil painting is helpful.
